500 Clerics Pray Obama Repents

on "Federal Sex Policies"

Over 325,000 US Congregations

Vista, CA (Thursday, October 30) – Over 500 rabbis, priests and pastors have called upon their peers in every Jewish and Christian congregation to pray this weekend for Barack Obama's "repentance" from his "Federal Sex Policies": same-sex unions, gay military integration, partial birth abortion and federal "sexual orientation" laws on churches and businesses.

Via millions of emails, faxes, "robo-calls", "Interfaith Video Sermons" and direct mail to the nation's 325,000 synagogues and churches, the 500 clerics accuse Obama of circulating campaign literature in churches that "fails to disclose" his support for homosexuality and "child sacrifice". Obama favors full repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, which shields states from forced legal recognition of same-sex marriages originating in Massachusetts, California and Connecticut.  He pledges that his first act as president would be to sign a bill repealing all restrictions on partial birth abortion, which involves piercing fetal skulls during delivery.  Obama opposes requiring that parents be notified prior to a teenage daughter's abortion and he blocked an Illinois bill to protect infant abortion survivors.

The 500 clerics are signatories to the inaugural edition of The Judeo-Christian View, "a multimedia journal of opinion for rabbis, priests, pastors and religious laity" with print and online editions.  The signatories write: Obama "contested the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff by declaring that, ‘I do not agree with General Pace that homosexuality is immoral.' Well, Senator, how about agreeing with your Creator?"

Obama supports enacting federal non-discrimination laws that equate "sexual orientation" with qualities like race. The signers say, "as pastors and rabbis writing jointly, we simply cannot support any social agenda that falsely equates the inherent, G_d-given traits of race and ethnicity with G_d-forbidden carnal desires and volitional decisions to pursue immoral sexual relations – or which asserts the ‘right' to kill an innocent, fully-formed child at the very point of birth. The Law, Prophets and all of Scripture compel us to preach and teach that a decision to sacrifice the life of a child or to pursue same-sex intercourse or lesbianism, is a gravely serious matter of... sin."

The signatories continue, "If a politician holds that homosexuality is not immoral… then we as leaders have both the right and the sacred, affirmative duty to somehow make sure our congregations know the documented facts. If, like ancient King Manasseh or Herod, a sitting or aspiring leader endorses child sacrifice – especially by bloody, excruciating means such as Partial Birth Abortion – we must not only preach from the Bible on the sanctity of innocent human life, we are honor-bound to alert our congregations to precisely what sort of barbarism that person stands for…Sadly, these are indeed things for which Sen. Obama defiantly has stood, against the Torah and all of Scripture. And, in campaign literature circulating to churchgoers this year, Sen. Obama has not clearly disclosed these positions…We believe in the power of prayer and redemption to turn hearts and minds. We are duty and honor-bound, however, to firmly oppose the policies on same-sex unions and child sacrifice that Sen. Obama has formally embraced – and of which we must earnestly pray he repents, whatever office and influence he wields next year."

The signatories include: Rev. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr.; Father Frank Pavone, Roman Catholic head of Priests for Life; Rabbi Herzel Kranz from The Jewish Center of Silver Spring, Maryland; Rev. Rosemary Schindler, San Francisco Board of the Anti-Defamation League and member of the Oscar Schindler family (of Schindler's List); Dr. James M. Hutchens, Brigadier General and Deputy Chief of US Army Chaplains (Ret.); Dr. Erwin Lutzer, senior pastor of Moody Memorial Church, Chicago; and Rabbi Yehuda Levin of the Rabbinical Alliance of America of Torah Loyal Jews and The Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the U.S. and Canada.  Email and fax blasts from The Judeo-Christian View have gone to millions of clerics and laity, urging prayer and preaching this weekend for Obama's repentance.

The rabbi, priest and pastor signers also state, "Full embrace of homosexual unions by our nation and the next administration would tell violent Islamists that the infidel USA has expressly rejected once-shared Abrahamic, Mosaic and Christian teaching regarding ‘sodomy'. So too would flagrant ‘gay integration' of our overseas military forces. We advocate "love the sinner, hate the sin"; militant Islamists would murder our fellow Americans for sexual error, as well as us for offering them hope and forgiveness!"  The online edition graphically condemns Islamist executions of gays, young girls and women domestically and abroad.  The print edition included two DVD's for Jewish and Christian congregations:  An "Interfaith Video Sermon" and the award-winning documentary, Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West.

Obama Sex Policies
Ignite Pastors, Rabbis

Pompano Beach, FLA (Monday, October 27) – Barack Obama’s policies on sexuality have ignited passionate response from hundreds of pastors and rabbis who are urging their peers – over 325,000 of them – to pray for Obama’s repentance and show a graphic “video sermon” so American congregations have “full disclosure and informed consent” on the senator’s plans.

The inaugural issue of The Judeo-Christian View, a “multimedia journal” for Jewish and Christian clerics signed by hundreds of the same, includes a 7-minute DVD sermon that challenges Obama’s policies on same-sex unions, integration of open gays into the U.S. military, and tax-subsidized partial birth abortion.  The signatories also decry Obama’s support for teenage abortion without parental notice and his call for repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, which shields states from forced recognition of same-sex marriages originating elsewhere.

The religious leaders argue that Obama’s liberal sex policies are certain to inflame tensions with the Muslim world: “Full embrace of homosexual unions by our nation and the next administration would tell violent Islamists that the infidel USA has expressly rejected once-shared Abrahamic, Mosaic and Christian teaching regarding ‘sodomy’. So too would flagrant ‘gay integration’ of our overseas military forces. We advocate ‘love the sinner, hate the sin’; militant Islamists would murder our fellow Americans for sexual error, as well as us for offering them hope and forgiveness!”

The Judeo-Christian View condemn Islamist executions of gays and “honor killings” of young girls.  Signatories argue that Obama’s plans to roll back all restrictions on late-term abortion, “combined with his effort to kill a bill that would protect babies who survive abortions, tends to gut the USA’s moral standing to condemn jihadist use of Muslim children as suicide bombers; all are horrific cases of child sacrifice that support a Culture of Death and demonstrate utter contempt for the Judeo-Christian Culture of Life.”

Rev. O’Neal Dozier of Pompano Beach, Florida, the General Publisher, said the new publication went out this month to over 325,000 rabbis, priests and pastors in every Jewish and Christian congregation in America. In millions of emails, faxes, and robo-calls blasting this week to potential subscribers, Dozier and Rabbi Yehuda Levin of the Rabbinical Alliance of Torah Loyal Jews urge religious leaders to play a graphic DVD sermon for congregants, preach from Scripture, “name names” and clearly explain Obama’s sex policies to church and synagogue members.

Every USA church, synagogue
gets militant Islam DVD

Over 325,000 rabbis and pastors
get new publication

Vista, CA (Monday, October 20) – Over 325,000 rabbis, priests and pastors in every Jewish and Christian congregation in America just received the award-winning documentary Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West on DVD,  according to the publisher of a new periodical for clerical leaders, The Judeo-Christian View, which included the film inside the first issue.

The publication -- signed by dozens of rabbis and pastors who concur that U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s policies on same-sex unions and partial birth abortion tend to inflame U.S. tensions with Islamists and are at odds with their ancient Biblical faiths -- went out by U.S. mail and is heading online (www.thejudeo-christianview.com) to another 10 million congregational leaders and laity as part of an ambitious subscription strategy.  The new “multimedia opinion journal” also includes an “interfaith video sermon” on DVD and online that discusses Obama’s support for repealing the Defense of Marriage Act, which shields states from forced recognition of same-sex marriages originating in Massachusetts, California and now, Connecticut pursuant to a state Supreme Court ruling on October 10.

Clerical signers include: Rabbi Herzel Kranz from The Jewish Center of Silver Spring, Maryland; Rev. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr.; Father Frank Pavone, Roman Catholic head of Priests for Life; Rev. Rosemary Schindler, San Francisco Board of the Anti-Defamation League and member of the Oscar Schindler family (of Schindler’s List); Dr. James M. Hutchens, Brigadier General and Deputy Chief of US Army Chaplains (Ret.); Rev. Ben Kinchlow, former co-host of The 700 Club; Dr. Bruce Fong, president, Michigan Theological Seminary; Dr. Kenneth L. Hutcherson, Antioch Bible Church, Kirkland, Washington; Dr. Erwin Lutzer, senior pastor of Moody Memorial Church, Chicago; and Rabbi Yehuda Levin of the Rabbinical Alliance of America of Torah Loyal Jews and The Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the U.S. and Canada.

The publication links Jewish Scriptures (eg., Leviticus 18:21) on child sacrifice to graphic video descriptions of partial birth abortion -- a late-term procedure that involves piercing the skull and vacuuming the brain of the fetus, something Sen. John McCain would ban, but Obama would expand via taxpayer funding and the proposed “Freedom of Choice Act,” which eliminates all current U.S. restrictions on late-term abortion.  The document’s signatories contend Obama’s policy to liberalize abortion, “combined with his effort to kill a bill that would protect babies who survive abortions, tends to gut the USA’s moral standing to condemn jihadic use of Muslim children as suicide bombers; both are horrific cases of child sacrifice that support a Culture of Death and demonstrate utter contempt for the Judeo-Christian Culture of Life.”

The rabbi, priest and pastor signers also state, “Full embrace of homosexual unions by our nation and the next administration would tell violent Islamists that the infidel USA has expressly rejected once-shared Abrahamic, Mosaic and Christian teaching regarding ‘sodomy’. So too would flagrant ‘gay integration’ of our overseas military forces [a policy Obama supports]. We advocate "love the sinner, hate the sin"; militant Islamists would murder our fellow Americans for sexual error, as well as us for offering them hope and forgiveness!”  The online edition graphically condemns Islamist executions of gays, young girls and women domestically and abroad.

Dr. O’Neal Dozier, General Publisher, said the next issue will be The Judeo-Christian View on “The Free Exercise of Islamic Violence.” Dozier, an African-American pastor, attorney and former NFL player, said the Obsession DVD went out with the print edition to all U.S. congregations of Judeo-Christian heritage as a donation to the Clarion Fund, Inc.  Clarion recently distributed the film to 28 million U.S. households and was harshly condemned for it by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an advocacy group linked by critics to radical Muslims and opposed to the 2006 documentary.

Although juxtaposing Bible passages with the two senators’ policies, the multiracial signers of Dozier’s new periodical reject “bigotry against peaceful Muslims”, racism, “any kind of hatred, mean-spiritedness or gay-bashing”, or mistreatment of “young mothers pressured by boyfriends, parents or society to abort their pre-born infants.”  Urging “love the sinner, hate the sin”, the signers encourage the same “attitude toward erring politicians as well” and expressly reject discredited claims that Obama, whose father was Muslim, is today a Muslim.

Rabbis & Pastors concur on
Same-Sex Unions, Child Sacrifice, Candidates

Over 325,000 USA churches, synagogues
get new publication

Vista, CA (Monday, October 13) – Over 325,000 rabbis, priests and pastors in every Jewish and Christian congregation in America have received the inaugural issue of The Judeo-Christian View by U.S. mail, according to the publisher of the new periodical. The launch edition deals with the volatile issues of religion, presidential politics, same-sex unions and "child sacrifice." Signed by dozens of clerics who concur that homosexuality and partial birth abortion – plus related policies of U.S. Senator Barack Obama – are at odds with the ancient Biblical faiths, the first edition also went online during Yom Kippur (www.thejudeo-christianview.com) and is heading to another 5 million U.S. clerics, theologians and religious laity via email as part of an ambitious subscription strategy.

Signatories of the ecumenical epistle -- rabbis, pastors and theologians themselves -- urge congregational leaders to boldly pray, preach and teach "the Judeo-Christian view" on same-sex intercourse while conveying to their flocks where Senators Obama and John McCain stand on the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), a federal law that shields states from forced legal recognition of gay unions from other states, such as Massachusetts and California. The "multimedia journal of opinion"-- including a graphic DVD "video sermon" for congregations which cites both Jewish and Christian Bible translations -- reports that Obama favors full repeal of DOMA and supports same-sex unions, while McCain takes the opposite stand.

The clerical signers come from Jewish, Roman Catholic, evangelical and "mainline" Protestant denominations, including the United Methodist, Anglican, African Methodist Episcopal, Brethren, Baptist and Congregational traditions. Among them: Rabbi Herzel Kranz from The Jewish Center of Silver Spring, Maryland; Rev. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr.; Father Frank Pavone, Roman Catholic head of Priests for Life; Rev. Rosemary Schindler, San Francisco Board of the Anti-Defamation League and member of the Oscar Schindler family (of Schindler's List); Dr. James M. Hutchens, Brigadier General and Deputy Chief of US Army Chaplains (Ret.); Rev. Ben Kinchlow, former co-host of The 700 Club; Dr. Bruce Fong, president, Michigan Theological Seminary; Dr. Kenneth L. Hutcherson, Antioch Bible Church, Kirkland, Washington; Dr. Erwin Lutzer, senior pastor of Moody Memorial Church, Chicago; and Rabbi Yehuda Levin of the Rabbinical Alliance of America of Torah Loyal Jews and The Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the U.S. and Canada.

On the issue of "child sacrifice," The Judeo-Christian View springboards from Jewish Scriptures (eg., Leviticus 18:21, Jeremiah 32:35) into graphic verbal and video descriptions of partial birth abortion -- a late-term procedure that involves piercing the skull and vacuuming the brain of the fetus, something McCain would ban, but Obama would allow. The rabbis and pastors contend that Obama's policy to liberalize the practice, "combined with his effort to kill a bill that would protect babies who survive abortions, tends to gut the USA's moral standing to condemn jihadic use of Muslim children as suicide bombers; both are horrific cases of child sacrifice that support a Culture of Death and demonstrate utter contempt for the Judeo-Christian Culture of Life."

"We don't advise political endorsements from pulpits, but we certainly do urge leaders to teach Jewish and Christian ethics while naming names of politicians who reject aspects of that foundation," said Dr. O'Neal Dozier, General Publisher of the journal and pastor of the Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. "It is a simple matter of full disclosure and informed consent. Shepherds must lead their sheep." Dozier, an African American and former NFL linebacker for the Chicago Bears and New York Jets, said the new publication is unrelated to the Alliance Defense Fund, a legal aid group that recently encouraged some pastors to make express political endorsements from their pulpits.

"We think our readers will appreciate the eloquence and courage of the interfaith signatories who say what so many others fear to say," said Dozier. "Our model is predicated on free opt-in online subscriptions and eventual advertising support. We hope to hook both the shepherds and their flocks on bold content that emphasizes the common values of Jews and Christians in the USA and globally. Threats to religious liberty and civil freedom here and around the world make it essential that we ‘People of the Book' work closely together." Dozier said the next issue will be The Judeo-Christian View on "The Free Exercise of Islamic Violence."

Although juxtaposing Scripture with the two senators' policies, the multiracial signers reject "any kind of hatred, mean-spiritedness or gay-bashing", "bigotry against peaceful Muslims", racism, or mistreatment of "young mothers pressured by boyfriends, parents or society to abort their pre-born infants." Urging "love the sinner, hate the sin", the signers encourage the same "attitude toward erring politicians as well." The publication also reports that the two senators differ on integrating open gays into U.S. military barracks, and urges prayer for ballot measures in California, Florida and Arizona designed to uphold traditional monogamy.

The publication's mission statement says it "is a multimedia journal of opinion for rabbis, priests pastors and religious lay leaders of Jewish, Christian or mixed heritage which seeks to research, report on and uphold the Abrahamic, Mosaic and Judeo-Christian foundations for Creator-endowed human rights, religious liberty, civil freedom and tolerance, respect for women, family structure, American exceptionalism and Western Civilization. We do not endorse, oppose, coordinate with or advocate on behalf of any politician or party; rather, we seek to uphold the Judeo-Christian View."
